I just loaded Windows XP Service Pack 2
and now my modules won't play. What would cause
this? |
Windows XP SP2 installs a pop-up blocker for your Internet
Explorer web browser. You will need to disable this
pop-up blocker for the LegalTechNet site as follows:
1) In your browser, click TOOLS then POP-UP BLOCKER then
POP-UP BLOCKER SETTINGS.
2) Type 'www.legaltechnet.com' in the ADDRESS OF WEBSITE
TO ALLOW field then click ADD then CLOSE. |

When I try to play one of the
training modules, I get to the 'LaunchModule.asp' screen,
but the module window does not open and the training
module doesn't play at all. What might be wrong? |
This could be caused by any of the following:
1) A 'pop-up' blocker is not allowing the module window to
launch
2) You are using an Internet browser other than Microsoft
Internet Explorer version 4.0 or above |

When I try to play one of the
training modules, I get a blank browser window but the
training module doesn't play at all. What might be
wrong? |
This problem is generally caused by not having MacroMedia
Flash Player installed on your computer. |
|
After logging in to LegalTechNet,
each screen asks me to login. |
This is generally caused by the 'Privacy' settings on your
browser being too high. The Cookies privacy setting
must be set to 'Medium High' or below. On your
browser, go to TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS. Select the
PRIVACY tab. Check to see that the slider is set to
'Medium High' or below. Alternatively, you can use
the EDIT button on this window to allow all cookies from
'legaltechnet.com'. |

When I login and play one module,
everything is great. When I try to play a second
module, the first module plays again. What might
cause this? |
On some system configurations, the browser will cache the
first training module and play it every time until the
browser window is closed. To fix this problem, set
your Temporary Internet Files setting to 'Check for newer
version of stored pages - On every visit to the page'.
On your browser, select TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS.
Under 'Temporary Internet Files' select SETTINGS. At
the top of this window, select 'On every visit to the
page'. |
